Welcome to Keep it Clean Housekeeping. My name is Helene, Owner and Operator. Allow me to share this brief introduction to provide insight into my business and the passion behind the work.
I have been professional cleaning for over 10years. I started as a maid for a boutique farm stay and was made Head Housekeeper before i moved on to become Cleaning team leader for a 5star resort in Perth metro. Two vastly different scenes with one thing in common. A strict and highest standard of cleanliness and presentation. This standard has been cemented in me.
My Story
During the COVID period, I shifted focus to my teaching studies and took on casual domestic cleaning work with some major companies. It was an eye-opening experience.
If you've ever used a cleaning service—or are currently looking—you’ve likely seen the same promises: “top-quality,” “attention to detail,” and so on. But how do you know who to trust? Many people are left disappointed by rushed jobs, poor communication, and cleaners who barely go beyond the basics.
The truth is, cleaning is hard work. It requires proper protocols to ensure a truly clean, sanitised, and safe environment—something I noticed many companies simply overlooked. Worse, customers were paying premium rates while cleaners saw little of that value.
That’s when I realised there was a real need for a cleaning service that genuinely delivers on quality, care, and professionalism
Keep it Clean Housekeeping is on an integral journey as a premier cleaning service. From our service you can expect reliable cleaners who approach your home with a respectful and intuitive manner. Cleaners who listen to clients' needs and appreciate constructive feedback. We aren’t just cleaning, we are cleansing your environment. Each of my cleaners is trained on health and safety procedures, product knowledge and risk assessment and prevention. We are a small team on purpose, this allows accountability for our work. This Approach has proven to me to be beneficial not just to our customers but also team members job satisfaction. The wonderful women who make up the ‘Keep it Clean team’ are unified in this approach. This is the foundation of Keep it Clean Housekeeping.
The heart of the Business is in the Team. Paige, my right hand woman, extensive cleaning experience beyond my own and the qualifications and certificates to prove it. Wendy, an absolute powerhouse, No nonsense, strict and passionate about giving clients a display home finish every time. She also manages to keep us all in line and we love her for it. Then we have "The Girls" . These two young ladies are a god send to the team, reliable, considerate, young fit and healthy ...ahh youth. Kiarna works for us part time while waiting for her Police Academy Training to start next year ! So Proud. Holly is my very own flesh and blood. Full time student and money orientated teenager, who has had to put up with my constant chore charts, "responsibilities" and "family contribution" methods since she could walk. (at least thats what she will try tell you you).
When cleaning is done right you can simply feel it. Lighter; brighter; motivated; relaxed; connected. Those feelings are what we are all about. The best part of our job is knowing that we have helped make someone’s day better. After each clean when we are exhausted and messy (check out our before and after shots ) we are pleased with ourselves for a job well done. Our drive is bringing about positive changes for you.
